Ingredients

  • Meatballs
  • 1 lb. turkey

  • 1/2 cup almond meal

  • 1/2 cup diced onion

  • 1 Tbsp. ground flax

  • 1 tsp. sea salt

  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder

  • Ketchup
  • 1 6-oz. can tomato paste

  • 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard

  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine ground turkey and other ingredients for meatballs and mix well.
  • Form into 8 balls and place in a muffin tin, pressing slightly down with your hand.
  • In a separate bowl, combine homemade ketchup ingredients.
  • Spoon small dollops onto each turkey muffin and bake, uncovered, until cooked through, about 20 minutes.
  • Serve with remaining ketchup.
